Nami
Ivory and lavender locks; slate grey skin; and shining, amethyst eyes - Nami was a captivating curiosity even among the flowered valleys of Ëobol. Now in the hardy highlands of Jzhienti, where flowers are crushed under the weight of wind and hoof and rock, Nami faces a harsh new world that requires all her skill and determination to survive while she searches for her lost sister, Tialha.
After enduring the days-long journey from Stormhenge to Eadása cooped up in a carriage with the insufferable Valenkaard sisters, Nami was pleased to find the Valley of Peace - with its rolling, yellow plains and safe-guarding mountain border to be much like the valley where she grew up with her mother, father, and sister - if not a little drier. While her travel companions were immediately repulsed by the rough simplicity of the pasture province, the slender dark elf faced this new world with rigid determination. Barely had she touched down upon the Jzhienti soil before she set off for a local festival with little more than a vague clue and mysterious name to guide her.
Though an entertainer by trade (or so she says), Nami rarely raises her musical voice. Yet, beneath that demure demeanor crackles a shocking storehouse of raw will-power, which manifests in her ferocious allegiance and curious magic. Unlike most bombastic bards, Nami whispers quiet spells to trick and cajole her opponents. But as the situation demands, she unleashes her greater powers to explosive effect. While she was locked in a cell with a new friend, desperation drove Nami to set off a magnificent thunder wave that nearly destroyed the very person she was trying to protect!
Yes, her motivations seem fickle as the morning flowers on the Ëoboline hills, but Nami - once decided - is fiercely loyal and immovably determined. While she chose to befriend a criminal brute on a whim, Nami demonstrated devotion to him to rival the hardiest of friendships - throwing herself into a river to save the drowning man, getting herself locked up with him when he was arrested, and even facing the threat of torture to guard his life.
In a rare moment of self-disclosure, Nami revealed her motivations for coming to Jzhienti. During her time in Stormhenge, Nami came upon a clue encouraging her to seek the “Heir of Abvë,” a rumored survivor of that traitorous house of nobles for whom Tialha had been in employ when she disappeared. At little more than a whispered rumor, Nami abandoned her successful urban life to venture into the rugged wilderness in search of her family.
Fueled by blind determination and an undying hope - hard and bright as amethyst - Nami is ready to flatten any who might threaten her sister or the new friends she has made along the way, while she works to uncover the Heir of Abvë.
