In the Second Age, the citizens of land grew proud in their quests of discovery. The Orcish Empire splintered, stretched too thin and burdened by the shifting cultures among differing tribes. Eventually, the interconnected kingdom of orcs fractured, but from its ashes bloomed new peoples, new cultures, and new nations.
Over the centuries, the individual continents explored their own bounties of resources and ideologies. The dwarves disappeared from Amaura - retreated up into their mountains at the top of the world, and the boundaries of the continents were opened to travel between the nations. The resulting exchange of culture and currency propelled the nations into an era of unprecedented wealth.
